Kwanza Cocoa

"Kwanza Cocoa" is a farm based in the Northern Region of Malawi crafting various types of chocolates and cocoa products. They feature local inclusions such as the famous Kambuzi Chili, Coffee, Mangoes, Baobab and many more, which can be found in Kaza. Kwanza Cocoa is mindful about support and implementation of the UN sustainable development goals.
Their team consists of 10 people of which 60% being female.
A lot of farmers they work with in the Luwazi area are female farmers, and they provide free cocoa seedlings and raining.Additionally, their products come straight from the farm to your household without having a carbon footprint of going overseas to be processed.
Lastly, Kwanza cocoa plants more than 3,000 cocoa trees annually, while establishing an out-growers program engaging farmers across the country who have an interest in agriculture and would like to participate into cocoa program.
They wish to be a catalyst to expand the overall cocoa products industry in Malawi, to replace the import of $1.4 million annually.
