The business name 'The Commonage' means beneficially shared ground, which perfectly describes the idea of their approach: To work together with our neighbouring communities for the benefit of all.
The beans are grown, processed, roasted and packed in Nitchisi, the rainforest area of Malawi.

The Commonage has set up a system that serves the whole area of Ntchisi East by combining reforestation coffee, as well as joining eco and agro tourism by visiting the farm itself.
To meet the high standards of goods and services farmers are trained
to improve their techniques and enable small businesses to improve with a 0% micro loan project.
